Seven Seas Licenses Yuri Manga Bloom Into You

bloom into you 01Alright, today is going to be a super busy day so I hope that you’re prepared to keep your eyes glued to this website for some pretty big deal announcements throughout the day starting this brand new yuri manga license from Seven Seas!

Over the weekend, it was revealed that Seven Seas has licensed the yuri series Bloom Into You. The series first launched this past April in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine with the first compiled volume hitting store shelves in October 2015. Seven Seas plans to release the first volume in North America on January 3rd, 2017.

Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and hearts, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her…she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That’s when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she’s inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has her shoujo romance finally begun?

In a statement posted to their website, Seven Seas production manager Lissa Pattillo said “Bloom Into You won us over immediately with its adorable artwork and charming love story. Yuu’s dreams of a shoujo romance are easy to empathize with, and we’re eager to see if her dreams come true!”

That makes two of us!
