I know it’s hard to believe but there is still anime news that isn’t happening at Anime Expo this weekend. Shocking isn’t it? Anyways, two more series have been green lit for production with the first being Dhurarara!! based on the light novels of the same name written by the same author who did Baccano. The official website will be opened later but staff credits already show a reunion of Baccano staff members including Brains Base (Baccano, Spice and Wolf II, Zoku Natsume Yujin-cho) producing the animation and Ohmori Takahiro (Baccano, Koi Kaze, Zoku Natsume Yujin-cho) sitting in as director.

Also revealed today is an upcoming TV anime adaptation of the manga series ‘Dance in the Vampire Bund’. The series follows a young vampire named Mina who creates a peaceful place where vampires can live openly and peacefully. When news around the world breaks of the special vampire home, tensions begin to escalate between humans and vampires. No word on a release date or cast or crew credits for this one yet.
