My Holiday Wish: New Fate/Stay Night Licenses

Dear Santa Funimation,
How are you? I am fine. Now that ‘Black Friday’ is upon us I thought it would be a good time to send you my gift letter. This year I have been an especially good boy. When people didn’t like my early impressions of Pandora Hearts, I handled all of the negative comments very well (and proceeded to not like the series regardless). I haven’t started any flame wars that I’m aware of and I haven’t made a single joke about the Miss Japan sex tape (ah, crap). So, because of that I’ve decided to put my original holiday wish of my own tsundere harem with something else. This year, all I want for the holidays are new Fate/Stay Night licenses.
Now, I remember once upon a time when the fairy Geneon decided to give us the original TV series. It was a very fun time over here but then they decided they didn’t want to play with us anymore and left with barely enough time to complete the set. Now, we don’t blame you for still playing with them even though they were mean to us that one time. After all, we can understand that sometimes when you get invited over to Geneon’s house you bring back all sorts of neat new things for us.
Now, getting to my point… I don’t know if you heard but in January there are going be a new Fate/Stay Night movie and there also is going to be some new shiny DVDs! Now we all know how much Geneon enjoys this series but surely they saw from the complete collection re-release that we like it too. So do you think that maybe the next time you go over to Geneon’s house you can ask to borrow the new DVDs and movie for a little while? We promise that we’ll give it back eventually and we’ll treat it real good too!
I’m sure that it’s much more complicated than that. I’m sure that you have to spend your own time telling them that we won’t be mean to it. But think about all of the other things that you’ve brought over for us that we’ve treated nicely: When They Cry, Shana, Kyo Kara Maoh, Law of Ueki… err, ok maybe not so much Ueki but other than that, we’ve tried really hard!
So, this year all I want for the holidays are new Fate/Stay Night licenses. I don’t need anything else!

PS: If you DO happen to have a spare tsundere harem that hasn’t already been claimed after you deliver the new licenses, I’d still be willing to take it off your hands. I’m just sayin.

Lol – very good job with the spoof there, cleverly mixed and lots of fun to read. Frankly I am uncertain about the re-worked twelve episodes. Not sure exactly what they are trying to accomplish by doing it. If the anime story is good then animation slip ups never even register with me, so if there was anything worth reworking for, it would be to smooth their presentation of Archer’s secret and Rin and Sakura’s history (I’m being vague for the sake of anime watchers reading this. Mind you, I’m also an anime watcher, I just researched the game stories to write my fanfic properly. It’s on the site if you want to stop by and check it out. Unlike many of my colleagues, I know grammar).
