The target of this episode is a student who considers himself worthy of being a true prince, Femio. A man destined to be loved and love all others, his heart is just as good as any in Krahe’s eyes. With Mythos unable to gain a heart, Krahe targets Femio herself.

Thoughts so Far

Is it just me or did this entire episode seem pretty pointless? I get that the testing scene was important for Mythos as well as the scene afterwards in the nurse’s office. After that though, the entire story centering on Femio went absolutely nowhere because he’s too stupid to have anything happen to him. I should note that I say that last bit only because I actually started to like the little prat by the time the end credits were rolling. I’m trusting that some of these smaller moments will prove to have a much deeper meaning later but right now it all feels like it was there to fill time.

Oh and I’m over Krahe having a really fan servicey costume. Now I’m onto the question of how she gets it to stay up all the time. Glue? Tape? Really strong material?

Uhhh, yeah. That episode was…uhmm…different. I have a vague impression that what Mythos said there at the very end had an effect on Krahe, I’m just not exactly sure what or how. I do think Duck is right, though, in that Rue is still in there…somewhere. And that’s all I have to say about that, to quote Forrest Gump.

@David: I even made a note about Duck wanting to save Rue while I was watching and wondered to myself if she can be brought back. Naturally Tutu is going to try to save her, it’s what she does. I kind of like evil Krahe, maybe she’s better off that way. She wasn’t that happy as Rue anyway.

Well, my SWAS for this series (Seriously Wild-Assed Speculation) is that Princess Tutu/Duck will somehow rescue/rehabilitate both Rue and Mythos and enable THEM to find happiness together — at some cost to herself. YOWZA!!! (Don’t ask me to put any money on that, though.)
